How do I register my team for a tournament?

Find and open the tournament under Find tournaments. If registration is handled on Matchbase, select Register team and follow the steps on the page. For external tournaments, follow the link to the organizer's website and register there.

Can I join a waiting list if the tournament is full?

If the organizer offers a waiting list, you can add your team through the tournament page. A waiting list place is not a confirmed registration. The organizer manages available places; your team is not moved up automatically.

Can I cancel my registration?

Contact the organizer using the contact details on the tournament page. The organizer sets the cancellation and refund terms. Check the tournament information before registering.

When do we get our match schedule?

The organizer publishes the match schedule when it is ready. For tournaments with a public live page on Matchbase, you can view schedules and results there without logging in. Otherwise, follow the organizer's information on the tournament page.

How much does it cost to create a tournament?

Creating a tournament on Matchbase is free. For paid registrations, Matchbase charges a fee of 10% of the registration amount. Payment processing costs are separate.

How do I create a match schedule?

Open your tournament from My tournaments and go to the match schedule in the administration area. Enter pitches, times and format, and review the schedule before publishing it. The guide for organizers shows you how to get started.

How do I contact registered teams?

You can find team contact details in the tournament administration area. Use them to reach each team's contact person. Check the options available in your tournament if you want to share information with all teams.

When are registration payments paid out?

Matchbase initiates the transfer after the tournament, minus the fee. When the money reaches your account depends on payment processing. Write to us if you have a question about a specific payout.

How do I create an account?

Select Log in at the top of the page, then Create account. Follow the steps on screen. You do not need an account to find tournaments or view public match schedules and results.

Do I need to log in to follow a tournament?

No, public tournament pages and live pages can be viewed without logging in. You need to log in to manage your own tournaments. See the guide for parents or coaches for help with schedules and results.

I forgot my password — what do I do?

Select Log in, then Forgot password. Follow the instructions to reset your password and check your spam folder for the email. If you still cannot access your account, write to us.

Payment

Which payment methods can I use?

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. For external tournaments, payment is handled by the organizer and follows the organizer's terms.

How are my card details handled?

When you pay through Matchbase, card payments are handled by Stripe. Matchbase does not store your card details. When paying on an external website, check the organizer's payment information.

I was charged but received no confirmation — what do I do?

Check your spam folder first. If you paid through Matchbase, write to hej@matchbase.dk with the tournament name, your registration email and the payment date so we can investigate. Do not send card details. If you paid an external organizer, contact that organizer.
